Over the past two decades, the employment rate for Australians with disabilities has stayed largely the same. Specifically, those with cognitive disabilities have faced restricted employment opportunities. However, the Diversity Pathway pilot program has created new possibilities for individuals with cognitive disabilities to work in the hospitality industry.
